Museum 1: The  Griffin museum of photography  (67 Shore Rd., Winchester)

I feel compelled to open with the Griffin Museum of Photography because it has a wonderful show that will be closing on May 24, 2026. So, if you have any interest in photography, don’t miss this exhibit. The show is “Labor Daily: American Working Class” and it presents the work of six professional photographers. The photographs on display are remarkable, showing how both composition and printing combine to create works of art. Keep an eye out for exhibits at the Griffin – it’s a bit of a shlep to get up there, but the Griffin shows reveal the magic that a professional  with a camera can create. This exhibit is one part of a year-long series exploring the state of the American Experience through photography.

The Griffin is open Tues-Sunday 12 – 4 PM https://griffinmuseum.org
